CROYDON'S Chris Okoh was yesterday released from hospital following his three-round battering at the hands of new Commonwealth cruiser-weight champion Darren Corbett in Belfast on Monday night.
Okoh, who was unbeaten before he met the 24-year-old Corbett, had been admitted to the Royal Victoria Hospital suffering from concussion.
He was later transferred to the City Hospital but was allowed home, after being kept under observation overnight.
Corbett floored Okoh twice in the second round and again 83 seconds into the third when referee Mickey Vann called a halt.
