TYRONE FORWARD Stephen O’Neill is a serious doubt for the Ulster championship opening match against Armagh on May 31st in Clones. The former footballer of the year’s sensational eight-point haul against Dublin in the National Football League opener in January has been his last run-out after sustaining a knee injury that night.
“The knee injury he picked up in the Dublin game is proving more difficult to get rid of than he had hoped,” said manager Mickey Harte. “He’s working on it and he joins us from time to time.”
Tyrone captain Brian Dooher is another injury concern.
