Kerry SFC Semi-final/Dr Crokes 2-7 Laune Rangers 1-4: Dr Crokes emerged the stronger side in the second half to defeat Laune Rangers in their semi-final replay at Austin Stack Park, Tralee, yesterday.
The eventual winners had to recover from a bad start but were just one point down at the half-time break, 0-4 to 0-3.
Kieran O'Leary swung the game in Crokes' favour in the 45th minutes when he finished a Éanna Kavanagh delivery to the Laune net. O'Leary followed up with a point and three minutes later he was at the end of a move to score his second goal which effectively knocked Rangers out of the championship.
Rangers did rally with Pa O'Sullivan seeing his speculative lob being spilled into the net by goalkeeper Kieran Cremin but Crokes held on for the win and a final meeting with South Kerry on Sunday next.
