Aidan O'Brien's star filly of 2007, Peeping Fawn, could end up clashing with her 2006 double-classic winning stable companion, Alexandrova, in a potentially fascinating Yorkshire Oaks later this month.

The champion trainer issued a positive bulletin about Peeping Fawn yesterday and nominated a return to a mile and a half at York as the likely next step for the Irish Oaks, Pretty Polly and Nassau Stakes winner.

"Peeping Fawn has been in good shape since Goodwood and the plan at this stage is the Yorkshire Oaks," O'Brien said yesterday. "The plan is to run Alexandrova in the Yorkshire Oaks too. She is very well but it will be her first run of the year and she should improve."

However O'Brien didn't rule out a possible switch for Peeping Fawn to the Juddmonte International at the same Ebor festival, although the top-class four-year-olds George Washington and Dylan Thomas have that mile-and-a-quarter highlight as an option also.

O'Brien's Admiralofthefleet did best of the Irish runners in Chicago on Saturday night when he ran fourth to the Irish Derby also-ran Shamdinan in the Grade One Secretariat Stakes. Dermot Weld's Fleeting Shadow finished well out of the money. Danak managed only sixth in the Arlington Million behind Jambalaya.

Lady Causeway can follow up her five-length success at Sligo last Thursday at Ballinrobe tonight. A 5lb penalty doesn't look a severe hindrance and good draw is no bad thing around here even at the distance.
