FOOTBALL Wexford v Offaly- WHICH TEAM is worse?  This afternoon's opponents have one thing in common – they both provided Kildare with ideal tune-ups ahead of their Leinster final meeting with Dublin.

The loss of prolific scorer Matty Forde is partly covered by quality forwards in Redmond Barry and Ciarán Lyng, but Wexford have had a nightmare campaign.

Offaly should welcome back Shane Sullivan and Ciarán McManus to the starting line-up, but in reality victory will hardly lift either team out of the mire. Wexford to progress with the lingering memory of 2008 to guide them.
