The Navan B team of John Meade, Tony Maher, Paul Cregan and Peter Kearney beat favourites Loughlinstown by a single shot to win the 35th National Pitch and Putt Club Tournament at Dungarvan on Sunday.
Navan trailed favourites Loughlinstown by four shots after the foursomes but came back strongly in the singles with Paul Cregan five under the card and anchorman Peter Kearney chipping in for a birdie on the 18th to complete a four-under-par round.
Loughlinstown's top individual was Noel Flanagan on three under, and they had two shots to spare on host club Cunnigar who finished third.
