Willie Mullins is set to be three-handed in Sunday's Hennessy Cognac Gold Cup at Leopardstown. The Co Carlow trainer revealed yesterday that Micko's Dream and Alexander Banquet could be set to join stable star Florida Pearl in the field for the £83,000 contest.
"All three will probably run, Micko's Dream is in at Thurles on Thursday but I could run him there as well," he said. "I haven't thought about jockeys and I won't decide until declaration time."
Florida Pearl has been off the course since finishing second to First Gold in the King George VI Chase at Kempton on St Stephen's Day, but has been pleasing his trainer recently.
"I was quite pleased with how he came out of the race. He has had a nice little break since," Mullins explained.
Veteran Dorans Pride also holds an engagement in the same Thurles contest as Micko's Dream, the Esat Digifone Kinloch Brae Chase, as well as the big Leopardstown contest.
The other entries are Commanche Court, Imperial Call, Native Upmanship, Nick Dundee and Rathbawn Prince.
