The new world number one, Spain's Carlos Moya, has been dumped out of the Lipton Championships in Floriday by young Frenchmen Sebastien Grosjean. Grosjean (20), from Marseille, won 3-6, 6-4, 7-6.
Moya became the first Spaniard to hold the number one ranking when he took over from Pete Sampras a week ago.
Meanwhile, the United States have selected Todd Martin, Jim Courier, Jan-Michael Gambill and doubles specialist Alex O'Brien for next month's Davis Cup match with Britain.
