A last-gasp point from Keith Moran gave UCC another chance to reach the Munster club football final after their thrilling draw with Waterford champions Rathgormack at Pairc Ui Rinn on Saturday.

Franny Halpin gave Rathgormack a two points lead with his first-half goal but the students then dominated most of the second half as Ian Twiss brought his scoring total to six. By the 45-minute mark Liam Murphy had put UCC a point in front.

It was Rathgormack, however, who dominated the final minutes and seemed to be on their way after Martin Power converted a 45. But Moran's fisted point from the final attack took UCC to a replay.
