WEXFORD'S seven race mixed card features a guaranteed jackpot of £4,000, but the most interesting betting prospect of the evening may come in a non jackpot race, the Kilmore Maiden Hurdle.

Mofasa has been running on the flat recently and running well but has also got good hurdle form. His last effort over flights was at Thurles in March when not beaten that far into fourth behind Persian Dream. The second that day, Apache Twist, has won recently and the third, Sharp Outlook, subsequently won at Gowran.

With Tommy Treacy in the saddle today, Mofasa can break his hurdles duck possibly at the main expense of Crannon Boy.

Taklif is hard to go against in the Murphy Travel Novices Hurdle. A winner of his last two conditions races at Roscommon, this Sadlers Wells horse looks to have a touch of class compared to tonight's opposition.

Scorpio Boy got off the mark for the season at Thurles last Friday, beating True Rock by a length and the form was franked by that runner up winning at Dundalk on Wednesday. He looks a good bet in the Enniscorthy Handicap.
