NECAXA secured third place in the inaugural World Club Championship after ousting Spanish giants Real Madrid on penalties.
Necaxa, who drew 1-1 with Manchester United in their group game, won 4-3 on spot-kicks after Real pair Steve McManaman and Javier Dorado blazed wide and over respectively.
Raul had put Real ahead with their first real chance after 14 minutes, only for Agustin Delgado to level things in the second half.
Captain Manuel Sanchis crossed from the right, Fernando Morientes headed the ball into his strike partner's path and Raul's well-struck shot was misjudged by Hugo Pineda and the ball bounced over the goalkeeper's flailing body and inside his right-hand post.
The game, played in searing heat, was understandably conducted at a slow tempo and Necaxa dealt with the conditions more ably in the opening exchanges.
Necaxa started the second period as they had the first and deserved the equaliser 16 minutes into the half when Delgado latched onto Alex Aguinaga's long ball, outpaced Aitor Karanka and fired a low shot past Bizarri.
Sergio Vazquez almost turned the match on its head three minutes later but his volley was turned away brilliantly by Bizzarri at full stretch.
