Kieran McDonald is back in training with the Mayo football panel, a huge boost ahead of their Connacht final clash against either Galway or Sligo.
McDonald pulled out of the Mayo panel after Christmas stating he was unable to give a commitment to training because he was working in Dublin. However, he in now back in Mayo and requested to rejoin the panel.
Despite scoring 21 points in their demolition of Roscommon in the Connacht semi-final, Mayo's Achilles heel is their attack. McDonald showed he had lost none of his scoring touch by shooting 1-9 yesterday for his club Crossmolina in their win over Knockmore in the Mayo championship.
