AIRTRICITY LEAGUE PREMIER DIVISION Bray Wanderers 1 Derry City 2:JAMES McCLEAN provided both assists as Derry came alive in the second half to extend their unbeaten run to nine games at the Carlisle Grounds last night.

Derry are mulling over a bid for winger McClean from Peterborough United, believed to be in the region of €300,000 with add-ons.

McClean turned Bray’s Shane O’Connor inside out on 67 minutes to whip over a cross for Eamon Zayed who scored with a diving header. McClean then provided the corner for Danny Lafferty to head home. Bray rallied late with John Mulroy heading home a Dan McGuinness corner on 91 minutes.

Derry might have extended their lead within a minute when substitute Ruairí Harkin brought a fine save from Matt Gregg.
