Belvedere convincingly won the FAI under-17 Cup at Dalymount Park last night with striker Robert Martin scoring a second-half hattrick. Gareth Murphy grabbed the first after 36 minutes following a cross from Wesley Holohan. Murphy then turned provider for Belvedere's second as Martin headed home on 60 minutes. Martin added his second on 65 minutes and completed his hattrick five minutes later.
Meanwhile All-Ireland Schools Cup holders St Benildus defeated Moate 2-1 to win the Leinster Senior League final at Leixlip yesterday.
