THE PGA European Tour have announced a new tournament, the Oki Pro-Am, to be play at La Moreleja in Madrid from October 10th-13th.
Seve Ballesteros has already confirmed he will be among the 120-strong field for the event which will have a minimum prize fund of £450,000.
The PGA said the tournament would be played over 72 holes of stroke-play competition, with each professional being partnered by an amateur over the first 36 holes.
It will count towards the 1996 rankings and the Ryder Cup points list to decide the European team for next year's match against the United States, a PGA statement added.
Meanwhile, Nick Faldo is 15th on the US PGA Tour money list for 1996 after winning $124,000.
