WILSON'S Hospital proved much too strong for their Kells opponents in the Leinster Senior Cup game at Navan yesterday.
Full-back Barry Loughran was in tremendous form, scoring five of the games's 10 tries and kicking six conversions.
Two of the tries came in the opening five minutes with speedy centre Barry Leonard and Loughran both touching down under the posts and with the fullback landing both conversions, it, was 14-0.
Forwards Greg Byrne-Baty and Lee Bergin also went over for tries in the first half to leave it 52-0 at the break.
It took Wilson's Hospital 26 minutes to increase their ad vantage in the second period with Leonard getting his second try and then Loughran got his fifth.
