GLENN RYAN’S Longford were relegated from Division Three yesterday despite victory over promoted Tipperary, who opted to rest a number of key players, at Semple Stadium.
The midlanders rallied from five points down to win by a point.
Kilmacud Crokes star Brian Kavanagh marked just his second league outing of the season for Longford with a five-point haul, including four in the second half. Tipp led 0-5 to 0-3 at half-time.
