Previews/Tipperary and Sligo:Officials at Tipperary are optimistic that this evening's meeting will go ahead despite a 9am inspection and that will be good news for Lisvale supporters in the featured Ad Valorem Stakes.

The Tipperary manager, Peter Roe, reported yesterday: "At the moment we are perfectly raceable and I would be more than confident about going ahead. It all depends on the amount of overnight rain we get but the forecast is for less and less all the time."

A total of six line up for the Listed highlight including the Ballydoyle hope Achill Island and the course and distance winner Brazilian Star who will provide an informative form link to the Tyros Stakes victor New Approach.

However, there was a lot to like about Lisvale's maiden success on soft ground at the Curragh on Derby weekend when some good horses, including the Galway winner Lucifer Sam, were strung out behind him.

The Goffs Million is a later option for Lisvale, whose trainer David Wachman won this seven-furlong contest two years ago with Heatseeker, but tonight provides a lucrative stepping stone.

Wachman and jockey Wayne Lordan could be on the double as Speed Dream looks to have a decent shout in the five-furlong handicap.

Dermot Weld and Pat Smullen venture west to Sligo and can hit the mark in the opener with the Naas fourth African Rhythm.

Westlake is a likely favourite for them in the following conditions race but this colt, who controversially beat the Galway Hurdle winner Farmer Brown on his last start, would probably prefer a longer trip whereas 10 furlongs on testing ground should be ideal for Ardistan.
