Linfield have signed former Coleraine central defender, Graeme Phillson, on loan until the end of the season.
Phillson captain of the Westham United reserve team, will make his debut in the crunch match with leaders, Coleraine, at Windsor Park this afternoon.
Manager David Jeffrey, who will watch the action from the stand because of a three-match ban from the dressing room and dug-out, has indicated that other signings could be on the way.
His priority target is a striker and Jeffrey hopes to put one in place for the championship run-in.
Linfield are already out of the Irish Cup and have only the league championship left as a route to Europe. Jeffrey does not intend to miss out.
Crusaders, winners of the Irish Cup tie a week ago, again collide with Portadown at Seaview and Glenavon are at home to bottom-of-the-table Cliftonville.
