LIMERICK hurling manager Tom Ryan was last night summoned to a meeting of the Limerick county board. It is understood that there was unhappiness among members of the board with the team's much commented upon behaviour in the All Ireland prematch parade and during the team's introduction to President Robinson.
The county board has already felt it necessary to issue a public apology for the pre match behaviour of the players.
Tonight's full meeting of the board will also want answers to certain questions concerning the Limerick performance at Croke Park and, particularly, an explanation as to why Mike Galligan was not included amongst the substitutes. It is understood that Cloughawn, Galligan's club, will bring up the player's non inclusion.
