Sligo Rovers 4 Cobh Ramblers 0:SLIGO ROVERS were flattered by a four-goal victory margin against Cobh in Saturday's Eircom Premier Division game at the Showgrounds.
"We created chances but didn't take them and unless we start taking them we will go down," said Cobh boss Stephen Henderson.
A quick break by the home side set up Gavin Peers for a 55th-minute goal and Romauld Boco added a second with with a superb finish on 75 minutes.
Substitute David McDaid, on loan from Derry City, bagged Sligo's third on 82 minutes from a well- directed cross by Séamus Coleman and Conor O'Grady completed the scoring late on time when he headed home from Richie Ryan's free-kick.
