A late rally from Moate sealed victory against St David's at Artane yesterday.
Stephen Mills' kicking gave the Dublin school a 0-8 to 1-2 interval lead.
Although playing into the wind after the break St David's restricted Moate until wing-back Willie Henry was sent off for a second bookable offence.
Moate then began to make their pressure tell and Tom Browne ensured victory with a late goal.
