West Ham midfielder Frank Lampard has signed a new five-year contract with the Upton Park club. The England Under-21 international had been in negotiation with the Hammers since the end of the season and is delighted to have finally put any doubts about his future behind him.

"This has gone on for too long and obviously there has been a lot of speculation, but a move was never a question," said Lampard. "So I'm just pleased to get it all done and dusted and commit myself to the club for another five years."
