Knockbeg, Carlow 2-7 Rochfortbridge 0-11: Despite having their Laois intercounty senior Donie Brennan sent off after only 10 minutes, last year's beaten Leinster Colleges senior football finalists Knockbeg beat Rochfortbridge at Portlaoise on Saturday to book a place in this year's final.
Knockbeg got off to a perfect start when Séamus O'Shea scored a goal in the opening minute. Five minutes later they were awarded a penalty which Donie Brennan dispatched to the net.
However, five minutes later after an off-the-ball incident Brennan and his opposite number Damien Price were red-carded.
