CHRISTOPHER Kimmage was clearly fastest in the opening stage time trial in the Dublin Wheelers' Tour of Fingal last evening at Howth. He now wears the first leader's jersey for stage two this evening, 7.30, over 42 miles at Clonee.
Kimmage, of the Dan Morrisseys club, went off 45th of the 102 starters and he covered the one mile to Howth summit in three minutes and 44 seconds. This was seven seconds better than Simon Coughlan and David Peelo with Patrick Moriarty next at Ii seconds followed by Paul Doyle and Eddie McMahon.
