Kilrush members have taken another giant step towards making the West Clare club one of the best in the country. Following the successful extension of the course to 18 holes in 1994, the members at a recent e.g.m. gave permission to build a new clubhouse. Taken with a major drainage plan and other recent developments, the total investment will exceed the £1-million mark and will further advance the quality of this excellent Arthur Spring-designed course.

The fund raising began on the June weekend when 436 members and friends took part in a Classic. The club will hold a corporate classic on July 18th and 19th and to date the business sector have been very positive in their support for the event.
