MUNSTER SFC SEMI-FINALS/Kilmurry Ibrickane 0-11 Dromcollogher 0-5:MUNSTER CLUB champions Dromcollogher-Broadford were dethroned by Kilmurray Ibrickane – the very side they defeated in the final 12 months ago.

The Limerick side were always facing an uphill battle when travelling to Quilty in west Clare, but their task was not made any easier when they lost Seánie Buckley and Jason Stokes to injury.

The Clare side now play Stradbally of Waterford in the provincial semi-final.

Kilmurry were favoured by the strong wind in the first 30 minutes and led 0-7 to 0-1 at half-time.

Garrett Noonan led the fightback on the resumption with two points and on the 46th minute the lead was down to 0-7 to 0-4.

But Drom’ were then reduced to 14 men when Michael O’Sullivan was shown a second yellow card and the momentum swung back in favour of the home side.

A Michael Reidy free was the only score for the Munster champions in the final quarter as Kilmurry set about atoning for last year’s defeat.
