MUNSTER SCHOOLS SF A SEMI-FINAL IS Killorglin 3-5 Tralee CBS 1-8:INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL Killorglin caused a mild upset when they sent favourites Tralee CBS crashing out after a well-contested all-Kerry semi-final, played at the Austin Stack Park, Tralee, yesterday afternoon.
It was very much a game dominated by the respective defences but Killorglin’s ability to get goals at vital stages proved to be the main difference between the sides.
Two late points from tall full forward Brendan O’Shea and Kieran Hurley saw the sides retire level at 0-7 to 2-1 but Killorglin had the wind in the second half.
