Kildare have named an unchanged team for Saturday's Leinster final replay against Dublin at Croke Park

Kildare have named an unchanged team for Saturday's Leinster final replay against Dublin at Croke Park. This means there is no room in the starting line-up for Karl O'Dwyer, who has recovered from a broken finger but will start on the bench. The starting line-up in the drawn match showed a couple of changes to the announced team, with Willie McCreery and Dermot Earley switching places. It will be interesting to see if manager Mick O'Dwyer decides to persevere with the switch, given that both players had below-par games. Brian Lacey has recovered from the knock picked up in the drawn match and will take his place at left corner back. Otherwise there are no injury concerns and the clean bill of health led to the early release of the team last night.

Kildare (SF v Dublin): C Byrne; K Doyle, R Quinn, B Lacey; J Finn, G Ryan, A Rainbow; M Lynch, W McCreery; E McCormack, J Doyle, D Earley; P Brennan, R Sweeney, T Fennin. Subs: To be announced later in the week.

Dublin SF

Dublin will announce their line-up either tomorrow or Thursday. Full forward Ian Robertson is definitely out and wing forward Jim Gavin is considered no better than 50-50 for Saturday's match. Whereas Declan Darcy has recovered and begun training again, there are doubts as to whether he will last 70 minutes. Given the premium placed on dead-ball kicking, it is likely that Tom Carr and his selectors will go with Darcy for at least some of the match, but there have been no clear indications how else the team will deal with the problem of inaccuracy from frees - a failing which cost the county the title last Sunday week.

Kilkenny SH

Kilkenny have no injury worries ahead of Sunday's All-Ireland hurling semi-final against Galway. The team is likely to be the same as the one which started the Leinster final against Offaly. Canice Brennan is back in full training, but is considered too ring-rusty to be in contention for a starting place in the defence.

Galway SH

Galway similarly have a full pick and manager Mattie Murphy will announce his team for the semi-final tonight.

Limerick U-21H

Limerick include three dual players - Brian Geary, Stephen Lucey and Brian Begley - for tomorrow's Munster under-21 hurling final against Cork at Pairc Ui Chaoimh. There is just one change in personnel from the team which beat Clare in the semi-finals, with Shane Mullane making way for Lucey at midfield.

Colin Byrne defeated defending champion David Fitzgerald by the narrowest of margins to win the All-Ireland title in the Cooley mountains yesterday. Both men took 50 pucks to cover the distance, but Wicklowman Byrne won by 20 metres. Tipperary goalkeeper Brendan Cummins was third with 51 pucks.
