Conor Mellett shook the net after 18 seconds and Niall Hurley-Lynch finished from close range.
A further two Kildare goals before the interval confirmed their superiority as they went in with an unassailable 4-3 to 0-4 lead.
It wasn’t all good news for Kildare as they had Robbie Conefrey receive a straight red card in the second half.
