Kilanerin claimed their third Wexford football championship in five years when they registered an easy win over inexperienced Adamstown at Enniscorthy.
Kilanerin sowed the seeds of victory with a strong first-half showing which gave them a 10point interval lead.
They claimed two goals in that period as Adamstown were forced to back-pedal. John Hegarty tucked away the first from a penalty on 17 minutes. The second fell shortly afterwards to wing forward Nicky D'Arcy, who brought a spell of frantic pressure on John Cooper's net to a close with a firm shot through a crowded square.
