There was simply no sympathy from St Keiran's of Kilkenny as they cruised through to the All-Ireland College's hurling final at Parnell Park yesterday.
The Ulster College's selection didn't have a chance of matching the accuracy and scoring power of St Keiran's, most significantly that of Eoin Kelly. The right corner forward contributed 11 points, including five long-range frees and a goal, while Brian Carroll took seven points from play.
Kelly claimed the first of the inevitable goals on 20 minutes. David Dowling added the second just before the half.
Substitute Stephen Hennessy rounded off the victory with a late goal.
