Striker David Kane scored after just six seconds, and added two more first-half goals goals to clinch FAI Junior Cup final victory at Tolka Park yesterday.
Kane's first strike came directly from the kick off and having being played through by Colm Currie, the front man coolly the ball over the advancing goalkeeper, Austin Hannon. A disastrous deflection off Thomas Stanley following a shot from outside the box created havoc and although Hannon blocked Gary Burdock's initial strike, Stephen Hanna pulled the ball back for Kane, who duly obliged on 21 minutes.
Then on 30 minutes the Junior international collected from midfield before dispatching the ball into the bottom corner from outside the area.
