UEFA Champions League:JUVENTUS HAD to come from two goals down in Minsk with BATE holding on for their first Champions League point. Vincenzo Iaquinta scored both of the Juve goals after the Belarus side went two up inside the first 23 minutes of the game.

In the other Group H match, Real Madrid kept their 100 per cent record intact with a 2-1 win at Uefa Cup holders Zenit St Petersburg with Ruud van Nistelrooy netting the 31st-minute winner after Danny Alves had equalised Tomas Hubocan's own-goal. After two matches Juventus are second in Group H with four points, two behind leaders Real Madrid.

In Group F, Bayern Munich and Olympique Lyon drew 1-1 , while Steaua Bucharest and Fiorentina finished scoreless. Bayern gifted Lyon the lead when Martin Demichelis headed a Juninho free-kick back past his own goalkeeper in the 25th minute.

The Bundesliga side got the equaliser when Ze Roberto arrived late in the penalty area to head home a Miroslav Klose cross shortly after the break.
