Saracens became the latest side to be trounced by London Irish after the Exiles ran in a massive seven tries to claim a 55-13 victory. London Irish move into second in the league table - just one point behind Leicester Tigers. The visitors got off to an explosive start when Paul Sackey touched down for the first try of the evening after just 58 seconds. Barry Everitt converted.
Hooker Maco Drotske then touched down for his first try in the Madejski Stadium side four minutes later following good work from fellow forwards Mike Worsley and Keiron Dawson. Luke Smith hit back for the home side with a penalty but opposite number Everitt went better converting three penalties to give London Irish a 20-point lead.
The home side finally scored on the half hour when a powerful drive from a second Saracens line-out saw young prop Luke Harbut muscle his way over the line and score. Smith converted to reduce the deficit to 13 points.
But the score did not dampen Irish spirits with Justin Bishop running in a third try before the break. Saracens' final score came up after 42 minutes when Smith converted a penalty.
Then London Irish ran riot, following up their blistering first half with four more tries.
