IPSWICH TOWN have accused neighbours Norwich City of making an illegal approach to their former player Ian Crook, who signed, for Ipswich the day Norwich appointed new manager Mike Walker.
Ipswich said Crook had been approached by Walker and made a financial offer which also includes a coaching post. Norwich claimed they made the approach because they believed that Crook technically remained their player until his old contract with them expired on June 30th.
But Ipswich have now obtained a court order restraining Norwich from "further inducing" Crook to break his Ipswich contract.
