Australia were on the verge of a landslide victory over India after the tourists collapsed late on the fourth day of the first Test in Adelaide yesterday.

Set 396 for victory, India slumped to 76 for five by the close of play. Shane Warne and Glenn McGrath captured two wickets each while Damien Fleming grabbed a fifth.
