ENGLAND midfielder Paul Ince said yesterday that he will decide. whether to stay with Inter Milan at the end of the season, adding he. had already rejected an offer from Arsenal.
Ince's contract at Inter, where he moved from Manchester United in 1995, runs to 1999 and he has become a firm favourite with fans at the San Siro.
"Arsenal came looking for me about a month ago but I said `no'," Ince told reporters at Inter's training ground. He left open the question of whether the current season would be his last with Inter "I'm not interested in making long term plans now. I'll decide my future in four or five months time," he said.
Meanwhile, referee David. Elleray last night told the English Football Association that any official move to punish Aston Villa striker Savo Milosevic would have to be initiated by Lancaster Gate.
The Serb striker is at the centre of allegations that he spat at David Beckham during Wednesday's goalless draw with Manchester United at Old Trafford, with television pictures seeming to confirm that Milosevic is guilty.
"I spoke to the referees' department of the FA this afternoon and told them that I did not see Milosevic spit at Beckham and in that case I cannot make any comment about what may or may not have happened in my report.
The ball is very much in the FA's court. I booked both players for adopting an aggressive attitude and if I had seen any spitting taking place, then there would certainly have been a red card," said Elleray.
Villa boss Brian Little has already promised to investigate the allegations.
