THE new president of the Irish Federation of Personnel Services (IFPS) is Mr James Gormley, the owner of Irish Recruitment Consultants.

Established in 1972, the federation, with more than 70 members, promotes high standards in staff selection practices and the development of quality recruitment services to employers. The IFPS recently formed a partnership with the British-based Institute of Employment Consultants, making available a range of vocational training programmes.
