Tommy Horton ended seven weeks without a win by clinching The Belfry PGA Seniors Championship at the PGA National course yesterday.
His final 71 gave him an 11 under par total of 277, two shots better than Jim Rhodes and Italian Renato Campagnoli who both had 69s.
Horton captured the all-important first prize of £29,000, leapfrogging him over Brian Huggett in the Seniors money list.
Christy O'Connor Jnr, competing in his first Seniors event, finished with a 73 to be well of the pace.
