Derry City boss Felix Healy will remain at the Brandywell for another season at least, despite year's poor showing by the Northern Club.
The decision, which is being confirmed by Derry chairman, Kevin Friel, followed a meeting of the club's board of directors last night.
Friel said Healy had been "one of the most successful managers at the club" having won the Premier Division championship and the FAI Cup during his three seasons in charge.
"Felix has a superb track record. He has led the club well during his time in charge and while last season was certainly very disappointing, we have every confidence that our manager will lead Derry City back onto the road to further success" added Friel.
