Co Clare-based trainer John Hassett was fined £500 and his horse Future Strike banned from racing for 42 days after the Punchestown stewards decided the racecourse had been used as a training ground. Future Strike finished ninth to Ballyhampshire Boy in the INH Stallion Owners' EBF Novice Hurdle.

Ballyhampshire Boy's jockey, Philip Carberry, received a seven-day ban.
