ENGLAND'S retired World Cup half backs, Rob Andrew and Dewi Morris, have been granted another taste of the big time after their new clubs were dealt glamour ties against London's finest in the Pilkington Cup fifth round draw yesterday. London Irish meanwhile, must travel to Leeds. Morris is now coaching fifth division Winnington Park, who face Wasps, while former Wasps star Andrew - now Newcastle's rugby director - completes his 120 days qualification period in time to play against Harlequins.

It will be Andrew's first competitive match since his abrupt sacking by Wasps in October and brings him face to face with former international colleagues Will Carling, Brian Moore and Jason Leonard.

Morris, who quit active rugby after the World Cup, has been part of Winnington Park's coaching team this season and they host Wasps, last season's losing finalists.

There is only one all first division tie, with Saracens makings the trip to Leicester. Saracens shattered Leicester's hopes of retaining their championship with a 25-21 victory in the last round of League games, but Leicester must be favourites to win on their own ground.

The sponsors and the Rugby Football Union were delighted when the draw offered the possibility of seven first division teams reaching the last eight plus the winners of the Leeds v London Irish clash.

Holders Bath travel to Wakefield and the draw makes other clubs work for their passage, with Bristol going to Bedford and Gloucester playing at Nottingham.

Unusually there are no ties in the West or London. Bedford, Nottingham and Leicester stage matches in the Midlands Division, while West Hartlepool, Leeds, Wakefield, Newcastle and Winnington Park represent the North.

Meanwhile, England manager Jack Rowell is staging a four day squad session, starting on Thursday, January 11th, to prepare his team for the Five Nations opener against France on January 20th.

The England camp shelved plans to go abroad for warm weather training and are instead due to make their base at Bisham.
