Ted Hankey became the first Embassy world darts champion of the millennium after whitewashing Ronnie Baxter in the final at Frimley Green last night.
The man known as "The Count" won 6-0 with an exhibition of superb darts as he took Baxter apart to win his first world crown. The Stoke-based player only allowed his opponent four legs in the whole match, such was his superiority and brilliance.
