Portmarnock members Niall Goulding and Noel Fox made light of the gale force winds to take the major prizes at the Waterford Crystal-sponsored Links Pro Am at Royal Dublin yesterday.

Goulding, with nines of 37 and 38, took the nett prize with a 74 off a one handicap, while plus two handicapper Fox had nines of 40 and 35 to win the gross from local player John Hutchinson and Kevin Commins (Ardee).
