Gortletteragh wrested the Leitrim senior hurling title from their Carrick on Shannon opponents in an exciting encounter at Pairc Sean MacDiarmada on Saturday between the county's only two senior hurling clubs.

Yesterday, Gortletteragh lost to Sligo champions Tubbercurry 6-8 to 0-3 at the same venue.
