Gort booked a quarter-final spot in the Senior Cup at Gort yesterday, scoring four tries in the opening 35 minutes. Centre Colm Burke got the first in the eighth minute. Between the 11th and 17th minutes each side scored a try: Gort number eight Paul Killilea was followed over by the visitors' left wing, Ciaran Clarke.

Gort's Brian Bourke and Tadhg Linnane also scored tries.
