CONNACHT SCHOOLS: GORT CS 2-14 PORTUMNA 0-8:RICHIE CUMMINS excelled as Gort Community School won the Connacht colleges senior hurling title in Ballinasloe for the fifth year in succession.
Portumna were in contention when they trailed by just 1-6 to 0-5 at the interval, with Albert Mullins getting the Gort goal. But Conor Cooney and Cummins then fired over points for Gort to build up an unassailable lead.
