Showing far greater flair, Gorey CS brushed aside the weak challenge of New Ross VC in a disappointing Leinster Schools' Junior Cup first-round game at Wexford yesterday. Opening their cup campaign, Gorey dominated from the kick-off, running in two tries from Denis Tomkins and Lyndon Jones inside six minutes, which set them up for an interval lead of 29-0.
