LEINSTER COLLEGES SH 'A' QUARTER-FINAL Good Counsel 0-12 St Brendan's CS 0-6:GOOD COUNSEL New Ross showed a greater ability to pick off their scores to overcome St Brendan's CS, Birr at Castlecomer on Saturday.

Six New Ross players scored from play whereas only one Birr player managed the feat. St Brendan’s, who were missing three players through injury, also failed to convert at least eight chances from placed balls.

Good Counsel started brightly and led 0-6 to 0-3 at the interval.
